For our canine visitors, we provide excellent training grounds for honing your hunt test skills. On-site train-the-trainer sessions provided by Sherie Catledge from Bear Country Retrievers. Here you can hone your skills doing drills, working the T field, running marks and blinds on the ground and in the technical pond.

As the retriever’s handler, you get a slightly rugged experience without sacrificing modern amenities. We’ve combined rustic with contemporary to give you the best of both worlds in our Cottage and Camp Cabins. Each is outfitted with quality bedding, plush towels, with interior lighting that compliments the back-country themes. For the really adventurous, we also offer up-scale camping accommodations (in tent cots) for those who prefer an outdoor experience to unwind and relax in, while still having access to all the same modern amenities as our other human companions.

The Bath House serves the cabins, and any campers, with his and hers bathrooms, and two-enclosed, open-air heated showers.

The Raft is a large deck near the Bath-House, Cabins and Tent Cot area. It has a barbecue grill and picnic table where you can roast complimentary marshmallows at the 'Ring of Fire' in the evening, and rest in a hammock, ending your day in relaxation, or enjoy getting to know the other handlers. We may offer an opportunity for you to see yourself at work, screening the day’s training video!

Goose’s Galley provides our guests a reprieve from inclement weather. An equipped 'kitchen', for prepping meals, and community fridge /freezer, microwave, convection oven, and coffee makers for your convenience. A few stairs will take you to the barbecue pit area where you can grill brought-in foods. For your convenience Goose’s Galley features outlets to charge your electronics, with convenient WiFi and ample seating for eating and socializing.
